Let me start by saying...Dish Society in Bellaire is a vibe! From the time I entered the building, everyone was so warm and welcoming. Shoutout to the amazing bartender, Maddie! She was super sweet, made some amazing drinks, and had great conversation. Dish Society truly makes you feel like you're at home.
This Sunday fun day, I had the southern breakfast skillet, house beignets, and a large cranberry mimosa. The southern breakfast skillet was made with house made pork sausage, skillet potatoes, jalapeños, onions, peppers, scallions, white cheddar, gruyere, gravy, and sunny side vital farm eggs, which I had sunny side up! The house beignets were powdered with sugar, and came with sweet coffee anglaise. And, let me say, these are the only beignets I eat outside of New Orleans! Love them.
If those dishes don't sound appealing to you, you can also chose from dishes like brisket and eggs, Nutella French toast, house breakfast tacos, and shrimp and grits. Upgrade your brunch to a boozy brunch by including a bartender's breakfast shot, mimosa, or Tito's Bloody Mary.
Dish Society has awesome dishes and an amazingly inviting atmosphere. It is definitely a brunch winner!
